Dr. Whalen has reviewed hundreds of files though peer review in personal injury cases, and has provided continuing education courses for the California Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the Division of Workers Compensation, on a variety of topics including documentation, disability evaluation and treatment guidelines. He is a co-author of peer reviewed published treatment guidelines for chiropractic care of low back injuries. He has been an Expert Consultant for the Board of Examiners since 2008.
