Dr. Ponton is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at UCLA. He specializes in the neuropsychological assessment and treatment of traumatic brain injury patients and patients with psychological trauma. He has functioned as an expert witness for the past 16 years (defense/plaintiff) in hundreds of evaluations. He continues to treat brain injury and trauma patients in his private practice. As a bilingual/bicultural clinician (English/Spanish) he is uniquely qualified to provide culturally appropriate services to the diverse population of California. He has testified in over 130 depositions and over 30 trials. He has published numerous peer reviewed articles and has co-authored two books, published by Lawrence Earlbaum Associates.
