Biomechanical Engineer with extensive education, research, and experience involving analysis of head injury mechanisms. Â Dr. Clark applies his knowledge and expertise in the field of injury biomechanics and in particular head injury biomechanics to analyze complex biomechanical forensic issues.
Dr. Clark’s research has involved the collection and analysis of head injury data through test protocols that reflect the mechanisms of injury, which includes over 400 head injury reconstructions and assessing the protective effects of helmets.
Dr. Clark has published more than 20 scientific articles related to his injury biomechanics research and was part of teams that have presented at more than a dozen scientific conferences. He has also served as a referee for the five peer-reviewed scientific journals. Dr. Clark has held research and teaching positions in the University College Dublin School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering and the University of Ottawa School of Human Kinetics.
