Dr. Alexandra Funk is a board certified clinical toxicologist and licensed pharmacist with experience in toxicology, poison center management, pharmacology, emergency medicine, and hospital pharmacy practice. Dr. Funk regularly consults on toxicology cases in the state of Florida involving drugs of abuse, prescription medications, and over-the-counter medications in persons of all ages. Dr. Funk provides educational opportunities for both healthcare professionals and the lay public.

Dr. Funk is actively involved as a member and in leadership roles within the organizations of American Academy of Clinical Toxicology, America's Poison Centers, and American Board of Applied Toxicology.
