Dr. Barras is a board certified neuropsychologist who specializes in the evaluation and care of adult and older adult patients with neurocognitive and psychiatric disorders. Dr. Barras also provides fitness for duty evaluations, disability evaluations, and expert testimony in medical legal cases. He has testified in court as an expert witness in cases of personal injury, medical malpractice, will contests involving neuropsychological autopsy, and testamentary capacity. He completed his postdoctoral fellowship at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. He was a lecturer in the department of psychiatry at Northwestern and an associate professor at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Barras is a licensed psychologist in the states of Illinois and Florida.
