Since 2003, Gary E. Kilpatrick, PE, DFE at The Kilpatrick Group, PA has been a service provider of Accident Investigation and Reconstruction to our legal and insurance clients. Gary is a board certified Forensic Engineer through the National Academy of Forensic Engineers (NAFE) and is a Diplomat Forensic Engineer (DFE). He has extensive engineering education, training and experience in accident reconstruction and product defect and failure analyses. 
Gary has a Forensic Engineering practice in six major areas namely: (1) Motor Vehicle Products Defects and Failure Analyse which includes school buses and heavy commercial articulated vehicles; (2) Motorcycles and All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV) Accidents and Products Defects and Failure Analyse; (3) Cranes Accidents and Products Defects and Failure Analyse including load charts, rigging and crane data recorders; (4) Forklift Accidents and Products Defects and Failure Analyse; and (5) Amusement Park Ride Products Defects and Failure Analyse and (6) General Industrial Accidents including OSHA Regulations. Gary is a certified Industrial OSHA expert in General Industry and Construction Equipment. Gary has a Class-A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). He has driven commercial tractor trailer trucks and has tanker, hazardous materials, triples, passenger bus and school bus endorsements and is a commercial tractor trailer expert. Gary is also a member of the North Carolina Truckers Association. He holds certifications through Northwestern University’s Center For Public Safety in motor vehicle crash reconstruction and commercial tractor trailer truck crash reconstruction. Gary is also a part-time substitute North Carolina School Bus driver and School Bus Safety Expert. He has also been an avid motorcycle rider for 30 years and is a motorcycle and ATV/ROV expert. Gary travels throughout the United States to investigate motor vehicle crashes, product defect and failure claims resulting in personal injury or wrongful death.
