As an anesthesiologist he is also a strong proponent for opioid sparing and regional anesthesia techniques. Dr. Nye completed an ACGME accredited fellowship training program in sleep medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He is trained to diagnose and treat all sleep disorders in both adults and children. He is the Founder and medical director of Anesthesia & Sleep Medicine Services of Florida. He has been in private practice for the past 16 years. He is a highly experienced community based physician, providing health care services since 2006. He has given presentations on various topics including: postoperative complications associated with sleep apnea, mental health and sleep deprivation.
