Description
Dr Johnson is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery. Fellow with the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor for the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Salina and Lead Preceptor for the surgical subspecialty rotation. He is the anatomy/cadaver lab preceptor for the medical students. He teaches family practice residents for the Smoky Hill Family Practice residency program.  He did his residency at the University of Kansas-Wichita branch. He practices general orthopedic surgery in an active surgical practice in Salina, KS. He has practiced for 23 years.  He is licensed in Kansas and Washington. He is Medical Director for Salina Surgical Hospital. 
He has experience in deposition and trial testimonies (29 times in the last 4 years). 
Dr Johnson has several years of experience as an expert witness in a wide variety of cases including medical malpractice, workman's compensation, and personal injury. He has experience with both plaintiff/claimant and defense clients. He has experience working with attorneys, third party agencies, claims adjusters and case managers. . 
Dr Johnson has completed over 300 medical legal reports in 2018.
Dr Johnson can provide Independent Medical Evaluations, Medical Records Reviews, Permanent Impairment Ratings (AMA Guides to Permanent Impairment 4th ed, 5th ed, 6th ed),  rebuttal reports, and deposition preparation reviews.
