I am a practicing pediatric intensive care physician. I also practice pediatric sedation.  I have practiced pediatric intensive care since 1989. I am professor of Pediatrics at Georgetown University School of Medicine. In the past I have held the positions of Chief Medical Officer of St. Christopher Hospital for Children, Director of the Pediatric ICU Director of Pediatric Inpatient Services and Vice Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital, and in these roles I have dealt with the Standard of Care for pediatricians and pediatric specialists.  

I am board certified in Pediatrics and in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine and am a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and College of Critical Care Medicine. 

I have been serving as expert witness for over 25 years.

My areas of expertise are acute, emergency and critical care pediatrics and pediatric sedation.
