David Friedler, LMHC, MPH, LNHA , CNHA Emeritus has been employed as a psychotherapist and administrator in the long term care, clinical and behavioral health treatment arena for more than forty years. David Friedler's substantial clinical and administrative expertise has been within the realm of employment as either a clinician or clinical director or administrator in nursing home care, psychiatric hospitals and drug and alcohol treatment facilities. He is licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator in Massachusetts, as well as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in New Hampshire. He is a Certified Nursing Home Administrator Emeritus, Fellow of the American College of Health Care Administrators, Life Member of The Academy, ACHCA, and a Mentor for the ACHCA. Mr. Friedler has a particular specialty pertaining to treatment facility regulations, policies, and operational oversight of such treatment facilities. Specifically Mr. Friedler has direct administrative expertise in the area of federal and state regulations, and clinical treatment facility policies and procedures which are either directly related or patterned on the applicable regulations, and national and or state standards of care. Mr. Friedler has substantial knowledge and experience regarding state or national standards of care for accreditation, licensure, and certification agencies applicable to residential treatment facilities and skilled nursing facilities. Mr. Friedler also has a vast amount of experience regarding generally accepted practices applicable to the administrative and therapeutic models and milieus applicable to the day-to-day operations involved in managing nursing and residential treatment facilities. Moreover, Mr.Friedler also has substantial experience in the development, implementation, and recommendations (clinical and administrative) regarding state, federal, and administrative agency regulator surveys in these settings.
