I am a board certified (ABEM) emergency physician with over 19 years of post-graduate clinical experience working full-time in a Level I Trauma Center with a large dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department. Academically, I train medical students, residents and fellows from multiple disciplines. I am the medical director for two Urgent Care facilities. I am active in our specialty as an Board examiner (ABEM) and I have dedicated part of my career to clinical research (mainly pediatric emergency medicine). Prior to medical school I worked as an epidemiologist. My training in epidemiology gives me the skill set to critically assess the literature and apply it scientifically and clinically to legal cases. I have over nine years of experience as an expert witness and completed SEAK expert witness training courses. I am board certified (AOA) in addiction medicine and work clinically as the medical director at two addiction clinics. I have extensive experience with buprenorphine for opiate use disorder as well as all other addictions. I have served as an expert for both defense and plaintiff cases.
