Michael Gorman, PhD, PT, DMT, FAAOMPT is an expert clinician, educator, and business owner. Dr. Gorman is regarded as an expert in the field of Physical Therapy with extensive knowledge on current best practices, insurance reimbursement, business regulations, and clinician management. Dr. Gorman has achieved the highest level of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy training recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT). He has been very involved with the Missouri Chapter of the APTA, currently serving as Vice-President of the Missouri Chapter. Dr. Gorman was a private practice physical therapy owner since 2002; during this time growing his company from one to seven locations. In 2017 he successfully sold his practice to a national health care company. In addition, Dr. Gorman is a very accomplished speaker. He leads the Orthopedic Manual Therapy education for the 2nd year Washington University Physical Therapy students in St. Louis, Missouri. He has also lectured at Missouri PT chapter meetings on a variety of clinical and business topics.
