Montana License - 12593 PE. 12 years experience teaching construction and civil engineering at Montana State University. I have taught a total of 10 different courses including: construction estimating, building information modeling, planning and scheduling, engineering mechanics and materials, heavy equipment management, technical writing, and engineering ethics. I have served as an expert witness on several construction and engineering related projects throughout Montana, representing both plaintiff and defendant. Cases have included private residences, commercial projects, public infrastructure projects, and subdivisions. Responsibilities include reviewing all discovery documents, corresponding with attorneys, site inspections, report writing, depositions and trial witness. Thirteen years experience as a Civil Engineering Principal and Project Manager. Managed and designed multiple private and public projects throughout Montana. My responsibilities included: Marketing and Proposal Writing; Research and Development; Design Report preparation; Technical Design using AutoCad, Land Desktop, Civil 3D, Water Modeling, and various other technical software programs; Preliminary Engineering Report preparation; Construction Document preparation (Specifications and Bidding Documents); and Construction Administration (bid reviews and recommendations, contract documents, construction management, inspection, project as-builts, and project closeout). Seven years experience in residential and commercial construction, as owner, foreman and carpenter. Experience in all facets of construction including: earthwork, foundations, framing, siding, windows and doors, roofing, insulation, sheetrock, and finish carpentry.
