David Wolowitz, J.D., served for many years as outside counsel to some of the top schools in the country and has extensive experience dealing with a wide variety of school related legal issues in primary and secondary schools. He has consulted with dozens of schools nationwide and internationally on all aspects of student well-being and school safety. He is a frequent speaker on educational risk management and child safeguarding at national and regional school conferences. He has significant litigation experience and was invited for 29 years to teach at the Harvard Law School Trial Advocacy Workshop. He has a B.A. from Washington University, St. Louis, an M.A. from Harvard University, and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. He is licensed in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. 

Mr. Wolowitz has served as an expert in cases around the country involving current and past school standards of care for protecting the health and safety of students, as well as the adequacy of school policies, training, and investigations. He is knowledgeable about the specific issues relating to educator misconduct and sexual abuse and sexual abuse by students. He is able to address school employment issues relating to the hiring, supervision, and retention of teachers, coaches, counselors, and others. He is able to testify about a school's duty of care to protect students during school activities, such as sports, camps, and school trips. He has provided expert opinions on school related injuries and accidents, including wrongful death.
