Description
I am a Trauma Surgeon, Surgical Critical Care Intensivist and a General Surgeon. I am double board-certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care and have over 15 years of clinical Trauma, Critical Care and General/Emergency Surgery experience. 

Over the years, I have served as the Medical Director of Trauma and Surgical Critical Care at two different Trauma Centers. I have significant clinical and administrative leadership experience and have lead numerous peer and quality group review committees and group case reviews. Currently, I serve as the Director of Surgical Outcomes and Research and help to lead several initiatives related to peer surgical case review as well as patient quality and safety. I also have significant experience in reviewing and evaluating surgical cases for complications, errors, appropriate management and care as well as serving as an expert witness in numerous medical-legal cases. 

I have a breadth of experience in graduate and undergraduate medical education and have also obtained an Executive Healthcare MBA degree. I am considered to be a content expert in Trauma, Surgical Critical Care, General Surgery and Healthcare Quality. I have also served on numerous national board of surgery examiner's committees and have participated as an examiner on the national written and oral board examinations in the above-mentioned specialties.
