Award winning Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician with 10 years experience as a Hospitalist. I have been a Hospitalist Leader for the past 6 years at a Level 1 trauma, academic medical center. Leadership role involves being the Director of a 45 FTE Hospitalist Group, Associate Chief of Internal Medicine and Physician Advisor. Completed Prelim General Surgery Residency at Saint Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital (affiliated with Wayne State University, Michigan) and Categorical Internal Medicine residency from McLaren Hospital, Michigan State University at Flint, Michigan. To advance my leadership skills, I obtained MBA with a certificate in Health Sector Management from Duke University. Recognized multiple times as Program Director of the Month and have led my team to be awarded Program of the Month on multiple occasions. Received an award from Department of Psychiatry, University at Buffalo for Outstanding Service in providing medical consultative support to psychiatrists.
