Description
Diplomate ABIM since 1985, with Maintenance of Certification current. In my 35+ years of clinical practice, I have treated thousands of patients presenting with the full breadth of primary care issues, including acute and chronic illness, preventive medicine and geriatric medicine. I also have extensive leadership experience, having served in numerous leadership roles at Kaiser Permanente in Atlanta. I was Chief of Medicine for 4 years and Lead Physician at 2 different medical offices for over 10 years. I was on the Board of Directors of The Southeast Permanente Medical Group for 28 years, and served as Chair for 15 months. Since 2010 I have served as the Assistant to the Medical Director for Primary Care Recruitment, and as such I have interviewed and hired hundreds of primary care physicians.
