Ms. Bartlett's previous trial and deposition experience took place more than 4 years ago, as a representative of Freddie Mac.  During the past 2 years, Ms. Bartlett has worked on 3 cases that were settled prior to trial.  Her written reports contributed to a successful settlement in two of those cases. Ms. Bartlett works with firms in all 50 states.

Ms. Bartlett has been engaged in the financial services and real estate industry since 1982.  Currently, she is an independent consultant providing consulting and business development services to companies and individuals within the financial services and real estate industry.  Clients include national trade associations, asset management companies, title companies, non-profits and small business that support the industry.  Ms. Bartlett also provides expert witness services to legal firms throughout the United States.

Ms. Bartlett is a licensed real estate agent in the state of Texas, and is also an approved real estate continuing education course developer and instructor in Texas.

Previously, Ms. Bartlett held various positions at Freddie Mac, including Vendor Services/REO Operations Director.  In this position, she was responsible for oversight, development and management of Freddie Mac's third-party REO network of over 3,000 vendors, including vendor sourcing, issuing RFX's, creating SOW's, due diligence, preparing and negotiating contracts for REO vendors.  Once vendors were onboarded, she had direct responsibility over compliance oversight, performance management and training of all vendor types.  Additionally, Ms. Bartlett assisted in the creation and implementation of policies and procedures related to all aspects of REO, including property preservation and maintenance.

While at Freddie Mac, Ms. Bartlett frequently represented Freddie Mac at trade industry meetings and conferences as a speaker and subject matter expert in the default and REO space.  She has been featured in trade magazines: REO Insider, September 2010; Asian Real Estate Magazine, Summer 2011.  Ms. Bartlett has also written various articles about REO for Housingwire Magazine and The Five Star Institute.
