Description
Romney C. Andersen, MD, AAOS Fellow, ABOS Board Certified. Dr. Andersen is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with more than 14 years of experience managing orthopaedic trauma patients. He has published extensively in the area of orthopaedic trauma and is a professor of surgery. His areas of specialty include severe extremity injuries, compartment syndrome, amputations, crush injuries, blast injuries, explosive injuries, gunshot wounds, fracture care, osteoporosis, industrial & work place injuries. Dr. Andersen is the Chief of Orthopaedics for the Riverside Health System and is a practicing orthopaedic trauma surgeon. Formally he was the Chairman of Orthopaedics at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and oversaw the training program of 38 trainees, and an attending staff of 26 surgeons. Dr. Andersen has authored several expert opinions which have been of extremely valuable to the counsel that retained him. Every case he has worked on has settled without the need for deposition or trial testimony. He is very timely and responsive to counsel he is working with.
