I am in active clinical practice with Board Certification in internal medicine and nephrology (US and Canada) with an additional fellowship in transplantation medicine. 

I view myself as an educator of my patients.  I summarize complex nephrologic concepts for lay audiences on a daily basis.

I have served plaintiff and defense attorneys equally since 1995.  I approach all engagements as if I was assuming care for the patient in my own practice.  My objectivity and credibility are demonstrated through my detail oriented, reasoned reports that reflect the standard of care.  

I assist attorneys by anticipating issues and helping them think through the case.  I provide prompt and accessible expertise.

I am a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Washington.

I completed ~50 autopsies in my year as resident in Anatomic Pathology.  I am versed in the nuances of autopsy reporting and interpreting findings. 

I was recognized as a "Top Doctor" by Seattle Metropolitan Magazine in October 2012.  

I've written an award winning  book for medical students titled "Listen, Think, &amp; Speak Like a Doctor:  Essential Skills for Medical School &amp; Practice".
