Dr. Stokes has been in practice as a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician, with a focus on the musculoskeletal system, for over twenty five years.
He holds current state medical licenses in New York and Utah and is available nationally.
Dr. Stokes remains a Clinical Associate Professor at NYU Langone Health. He is the former Director of Sports Medicine and Director of Ultrasound and Musculoskeletal Education for NYU Rusk Rehab. He has taught and trained medical students, residents and Fellows at Penn State, University of Utah, and New York University Langone Rusk Rehabilitation.
Dr. Stokes is dual board certified in PM&R and Sports Medicine. He currently is an independent medical provider focusing on injuries to the peripheral joints, lumbar and cervical spine, and regenerative medicine injection treatments. One of Dr. Stokes' key strengths is his ability to translate complex medical terms and procedures into common, practical language.
Dr. Stokes is a Certified Life Care Planner (CLCP).
