I am a board certified (ABEM) emergency physician with over 19 years of post-graduate clinical experience working full-time in a Level I Trauma Center with a large dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department. Academically, I train medical students, residents and fellows from multiple disciplines. I am the medical director for two Urgent Care facilities. I am active in our specialty as an Board examiner (ABEM) and I have dedicated part of my career to clinical research (mainly pediatric emergency medicine). Prior to medical school I worked as an epidemiologist. My training in epidemiology gives me the skill set to critically assess the literature and apply it scientifically and clinically to legal cases.
